US man found naked in bathtub after breaking into Florida home he thought was his Airbnb

The man told police he split up with his brother after partying.

A man has been arrested in Florida, US, after he was caught taking a bath inside a house he broke into after a night of partying, according to NBCMiami. He was found naked in the bathtub on Christmas Day. After his arrest, Levi Sholing told police he believed it was the Airbnb he was staying at. The Minnesota resident was arrested for trespassing and property damage, the outlet added in its report.

According to the police, they received a call about a man knocking on the door of a house with a stone in his hand. When cops arrived on the scene shortly at 7 a.m. on December 25, they saw broken glass but could not find a suspect.

Police were again called to the same house by a neighbor who said he heard noises coming from upstairs, the NBCMiami says the report.

This time, cops thoroughly searched the house and found Levi Sholing inside the master bedroom of the second-floor master suite, “inside a bathtub full of hot water.”

Police arrested him and as he was escorted outside in handcuffs, Mr Sholing told police he separated from his brother after partying in Fort Myers. He then took an Uber and drove home from Cape Coral.

The man further said he believed the house was the Airbnb he was staying at.
