Vacation Like A Hobbit At This Tiny Tennessee Home

I’m always looking for a place to stay for a vacation or a weekend getaway that also gives me an experience. I’d rather not waste my money staying in a simple, ordinary hotel if I didn’t have to. For me, if you can find a cool place to stay, that just adds to the experience.

One of our favorite places to spend our free time is in the mountains. Whether it’s the Rockies, the Blue Ridge Mountains or the Smoky Mountains, we can’t get enough.

Now that my husband and I are empty nests, we can stay in smaller, more comfortable places. I found one that is absolutely adorable and looks like a Hobbit house from the movies made from the books, The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings.

Like this one.

The Hobbit’s house was magical, adorable, affordable and comfortable. My daughter and I loved the location as we were close to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Maryville, and any hiking in the Smokies. So glad we stayed here instead of a hotel on the Gatlinburg Strip… – Catherine

We absolutely loved our stay here! The theme has been incredibly thought out and it’s amazing how each little house has been done differently. Not sure if it was the staff or the owner, but sitting by the fire someone even brought us extra wood if we needed it. Everything was friendly and professional. We would love to come back and see it when all the hobbit houses are finished! – Cloe
