Vacation Rentals Above 10,000 Feet

You may have seen this in June, Airbnb has added a selection of new filters to its search function, meaning users can now find a rental based on pretty niche categories rather than just location and date range. So if the only place you’re willing to stay is a treehouse by the sea with a grand piano and a chef’s kitchen, now you can search for exactly that. Pretty cool, huh?

Well, they just added even more options to explore. You can now hunt down the last ‘tendency‘ the houses and all new listingsas well as ‘hanok‘ (traditional Korean houses made of natural materials), houses adapted for people with disabilitiesand properties with a ‘player‘, such as basketball courts, game rooms and even water slides.

But the new category we like the most? The ‘the roof of the world‘, which displays homes that are at least 10,000 feet above sea level. To give you a taste of what’s on offer, we’ve picked out some of our favorite higher rentals. Do you see halfway to the Himalayas?
