West Cork pub for rent with full bar is ‘coolest Airbnb ever’ in viral post

A woman has gone viral on social media platform TikTok after taking her followers to visit an entire pub available for rent on Airbnb.

Describing the pub as “the coolest Airbnb ever,” the women went from room to room showing accommodations for 16 with a full bar, air hockey table and gourmet kitchen.

She said, “Okay, I’ll show you around the pub we rented for the weekend. Like this whole pub is ours. How cool is that?

“And then we have our own catering establishment here. Up there, we then have the bedrooms… It can accommodate 16 people. Good or what?”

The pub is located on the Wild Atlantic Way in West Cork and is like many other country pubs in Ireland, but with one exception – you can now stay here on a self-catering basis and have the whole place to yourself as a home vacation.

The original pub dates back to the 1800s when three cottages were converted into a pub.

The building has been extended over the years to include a games room, kitchen, living room and upstairs accommodation.

The pub was open to the public until 2017 but has now been converted to provide a unique stay.

Patrons can sit in the lounge or in one of the comfortable leather armchairs on the veranda, with the smell of peat from the stove bringing back all the charm of a pub of yesteryear.

Those left behind can then move into the main bar and grab a drink and argue over who will be the bartender for the night.

The living room has both a stove and an open fireplace and seating for everyone.

The hosts provide everything you need to run your own bar and you can even connect a keg (Guinness product) to the internal cooler and gas and pour yourself the perfect pint, or load up the optics with your favorite spirits and indulge. to a few cocktails.

After a few drinks in the evening, see if you can’t resist knowing who in your group is the pool champion.

If billiards isn’t your game, the well-equipped games room lets you battle it out at darts, rings, and even air hockey.

When you retire for the evening, the pub has six bedrooms with an assortment of king, single and combination bedrooms to suit the needs of your group.

Four of the bedrooms benefit from an en-suite bathroom, with bedrooms five and six sharing a bathroom.

The pub video garnered over 260,000 views on TikTok as people expressed their surprise.

One of them said: “Be a place for the birthday.”

While another said: “This has to be the most perfect airbnb ever”.
