Why Johnny Depp was helped out of the Birmingham hotel

Security escorted Johnny Depp out of a hotel on Monday to protect him from hordes of fans who have been following him since his trial ended last week.

Photos of the actor being guided out of the Grand Hotel Birmingham in England holding a cup of coffee have gone viral this week.

A source told us that his security team kept him safe and away from “large crowds”.

“Wherever he goes he gets mobbed by fans,” our insider said.

In the snaps, the 58-year-old ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ star looked distraught as she walked out of the luxury hotel with a man clutching his right arm and another standing just behind them.

Depp wore a black and white plaid sports coat over black jeans and black shoes, which he teamed with a scarf, messy hair and aviator-style sunglasses. In his left hand was a ceramic coffee mug, although it is unclear what exactly was in it.

A few hours before the sighting, the actor had lost more than $62,000 (£50,000) at a lavish Indian feast fit for a legally victorious king and his band of about 20.

The celebratory dinner in Varanasi included authentic Indian dishes, endless cocktails and plenty of rosé.

According daily mail, Depp and his entourage posed for photos with fans before heading to the trendy restaurant.

Among those who attended the banquet was the ‘Edward Scissorhands’ star’s friend and musical collaborator, Jeff Beck, 77. While in the UK, the actor join the rock guitarist on stage at several of his recent shows.

A spokesperson for the “Aquaman” actress, 36, responded to her ex’s first TikTok video with a statement to People: “As Johnny Depp says he’s ‘moving forward’, women’s rights are moving backwards.”

Heard had accused Depp of domestic violence in a 2018 Washington Post op-ed that he claimed was false and defamatory.
