‘WTF Movie of the Year’ [Comic-Con]
Friends, sometimes it’s best to listen to your instincts and say no to the sinister man who invites you over for the night. Then again, where would be the fun in that? “Barbarian” unleashed its chills and scares on an eager audience at this year’s Comic-Con special screening, with /Film’s Ryan Scott in attendance. Here’s what he had to say about the horror movie:
BARBARIAN is absolutely crazy, scary, unpredictable, tense and brilliant. So funny! Really great stuff and possibly my favorite movie of the year so far. Enter as blind as possible. But go ahead. #SDCC pic.twitter.com/nirjuzYwjR

For the rest of us, “Barbarian” opens wide in theaters on September 9, 2022.
In “Barbarian”, a young woman traveling to Detroit for a job interview books a rental house. But when she arrives late at night, she discovers that the house is double-booked and that a strange man is already staying there. Against her better judgment, she decides to spend the evening, but soon discovers that there is much more to fear than just an unexpected guest.
