You can rent ‘The Godfather’ mansion in New York for an entire month

“Built in 1930, our charming but expansive 6,248 square foot home has been renovated and is fully modernized, while still being recognizable from the outside for its appearance in the 1972 film ‘The Godfather’,” the recently shared owners on the Airbnb description. Previously, the property was on the market for $1.375 million in 2019.

According to the listing, the family home will accommodate up to five people for a long-term stay from August 1 until the end of the month. Throughout the five-bedroom house, guests will have access to most of the mansion, including seven bathrooms, a large saltwater swimming pool, basement pub, games room and gym . There’s only one catch: this offer is only available to one lucky guest.

It’s not the first time that a famous house has been available for rent on Airbnb, in fact there have been several excuses to book a night in an exclusive house. Bad Bunny’s tractor-trailer house in Miami, the nostalgic Mystery Machine in Malibu, and Issa Rae’s limited-time weekend getaway in South Los Angeles are some of the popular stays available on Airbnb who immediately exhausted their summer availability.

While this once-in-a-lifetime chance to stay at “The Godfather” mansion is an excuse to invite all your New York friends and family over to celebrate the movie’s anniversary, the owners prohibit guests from hosting parties or events.

“This is our family home, so please read the house rules carefully before asking to book,” notes the owner. “We are located in a quiet area, so please no outside or additional guests at any time.”

In order to reserve the mansion, get ready Wednesday, July 27 at 1 p.m. to snag the 30-day stay.
