An official press release regarding the adorable mansion reads:

The Bearbnb is located in Ashdown Forest and is inspired by the original tales of AA Milne in the Hundred Acre Wood. With two separate stays available, the Bearbnb can accommodate up to four people at a time, giving Winnie the Pooh fans the chance to immerse themselves in the iconic world of Pooh and Friends.

The host of the Airbnb stay is Disney-appointed Winnie the Pooh illustrator Kim Raymond, who has organized the Bearbnb and has been drawing the iconic bear for over 30 years. Kim brought Pooh’s house to life using EH Shepard’s original decorations and he notes:

“I have illustrated Winnie the Pooh for thirty years and continue to be inspired by classic EH Shepard decorations and more recent Disney stories. The “Bearbnb” is a unique experience that brings the charm of Pooh to life for fans, while honoring the original adventures that have been so important to so many for 95 years. ”

The tailor-made “Bearbnb” and the entire stay, bookable only on Airbnb, are suitable for Pooh and his adventures with Piglet, Tigger, Eeyore and their friends:

● The house is built with exposed tree branches wrapped around the doorway with ‘Mr. Sanders’ inscribed

● Custom wallpaper designed by host Kim Raymond

● If guests take a look inside the kitchen cupboards, they’ll find shelves full of “hunny” pots

Even the exterior photos of the Airbnb rental look like they may have fallen out of a classic children’s book. Even the smallest details, like the ‘Mr.’ Sanderz ‘above Pooh’s red door, have been taken care of, truly transporting guests to a fairytale world.

Airbnb and The Walt Disney Company have expressed their enthusiasm for this nostalgic collaboration.

Catherine Powell, Global Head of Hosting, Airbnb, said:

“Winnie the Pooh is a childhood gem loved by families around the world. This year, the original books celebrate their 95th anniversary. What better way to commemorate AA Milne’s classic work than with these two unique stays in the original Hundred Acre Woods. A perfect place to do nothing. As Winnie the Pooh once said, “doing nothing often leads to the best thing.”
