Unusual: Winnie the Pooh’s house is now for rent on Airbnb!
To all Disney fans and other curious little ones, here is a short riddle: “yellow teddy bear dressed in red”, “Eeyore”, “honey” and “tree house” … does that give you any ideas? You have understood it: on Friday September 24 and Saturday September 25, the real house of Winnie the Pooh will meet you for a most magical stay, in the heart of its colorful thatched cottage installed in the unforgettable “Forest of the Blue Dreams ”!
On the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the children’s novel “Winnie the Pooh” published in 1926 by author AA Milne, the Disney animation studios (which adapted the work into a feature film in 1977) and the company of rental accommodation Airbnb is teaming up to offer you two stays on September 24 and 25 in the iconic house of the most famous little bear in the world! Installed in the forest of Ashdown in England (the same forest which inspired that of the “Blue Dreams” to the artist), Winnie, Piglet, Eeyore, Tigger and Coco-Lapin will welcome you for a most immersive journey in the cabin of the honey devourer with a boil recognizable among a thousand!
Two families of four dreamy travelers will arrive in this exact replica of the little bear cub’s lair, decorated by the official illustrator who imagined his house! Floor-to-ceiling honey jars, a bright red door with the letters “Mr Sanderz” (Winnie’s alias), cozy furniture and fairy-tale woodwork: you could almost forget the reality! To participate in this enchanting moment, you will however have to eliminate a current residence permit in the United Kingdom and register from September 20 from 2 p.m. local time (3 p.m. in France and Belgium) on the ad posted on the Airbnb site.
