The original 1870s farmhouse surely won’t disappoint with its updated features and amenities The farm is a working boarding house for retired horses or horses with special needs. Come to the farm for rest and relaxation. You can walk around the farm and visit all aspects, but we ask you never to enter the pastures or boxes with the horses.
Stay here with up to ten guests. The home has four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms.

Historic Bourbon Trail Stay in Lawrenceburg, KY
A truly exceptional find, the historic home sleeps ten with five bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms. The house was a preparatory school.
Kavanaugh School was a very prestigious preparatory school from the late 1800s through the mid 1900s. 2 blocks from downtown and located on Woodford Street along the Bourbon Trail, you will find this historic mansion majestic and charismatic. Over 5,400 square feet of beautiful hardwood floors, soaring doors, leather paneling and fabulous chandeliers all adorn this Georgian style estate.

It’s hard to describe how awesome this house is. The pictures do it justice. My buddies and I are all over 50, but like to get together periodically for a long road bike weekend. I can tell you the roads around Lawrenceburg are beautiful…rolling hills and considerate drivers. We had everything we needed for our party of 10. We even had room by the pool for our annual cornhole contest. Everything was well laid out – no challenge finding anything (except a light switch or two!). We will come back here one day. -Richard

My sister and I enjoyed our little “book-cation” weekend at this adorable cottage. We loved all the antiques and how they were tucked away inside the farmhouse with lots of hiking trails to explore. We would love to come back in the spring or summer when the pool is open and all the gardens are in bloom. Barn Getaway in Wilmington, OH
An amazing getaway for up to four people with two bedrooms and one bathroom.
Guests can use the pergola outside the barn with a picnic table and fountain. Also enjoy a seasonally heated pool ((May-October) with jets, lights, music, a pool house with a small fridge, a full bathroom on the poolside porch with a sauna that is attached to the main house and on the pool terrace but has its own private entrance, door code and complete privacy.
The whole space is spectacular and everything is very well thought out and upscale. Karen kept the pool warm which was good as it was in the 70’s while we were there. We had kids with us and they also loved the treehouse and swing set. -Leslie

It’s a small house, hello. And it is very spacious and luxurious. It is located in our back garden, behind the swimming pool. An oasis we’ve created for well-meaning guests. This is a unique place to stay, about 15 minutes from downtown, Lucas Oil Stadium and everything. You will leave this very inspired space. Create happy memories here. We really enjoyed creating this space for you. The pool is currently open for the 2022 season.
