I am fan of the magic mushroom gallery, one of the city’s oldest smart stores, located right in the heart of Amsterdam for almost 30 years. The shop has a great vibe in general, but I particularly appreciate how they take a moment to get in touch with each truffle shopper, asking them if they have experience with the substances and giving them some tips for maximize safety and fun.
Where to taste psychedelics in Amsterdam
Pretty much anywhere, really. Amsterdam is, to sum up in a nutshell, chill, and it’s hard to imagine having bad juju everywhere you go. Beware of the ubiquitous bikes whistling everywhere, but other than that, take a walk and see where things take you.
If you’re in the mood for a bit of trippy barry nightlife, check out Stone’s Café Bar and Nightclub, where neon decor and a 4 a.m. closing time create a solid night of psychedelia. If you’re looking to enjoy a quiet afternoon outdoors, head to Vondelpark, a huge park near the city’s main museums. And speaking of museums, the fluorescent art museum electric ladyland was more or less made to enjoy it under the influence.
Where to sleep in Amsterdam
After a long day of wandering the streets of Amsterdam high like clouds and wondering if you’ve walked different canals or the same one over and over again, you need a good place to relax and unwind. relax for the night.

Finally, there are a lot of quirks. The decor is funky and unique. The shower is contained in a bizarre, fully enclosed chamber that makes it feel like you’re bathing in the vacuum of space. And if you fancy descending into ultra-tranquility, the spa — located in what was once an underground bank vault — is super polished and super cool.
