Billionaire AirBnB owner listed his San Francisco home for bookings

Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky’s life has come full circle as, after 15 years, the founder of the world’s most famous lodging service listed a room in his San Francisco house on the platform. It will be more of an experience than just staying in a beautiful house in San Fran. While the icing on the cake is admittedly the $0 price tag, there are other aspects, like hanging out with the American entrepreneur and baking him cookies or walking around the neighborhood. “I live here, so I’ll be here,” Chesky said in a video posted to his Twitter account for the Airbnb 2022 Winter Release, which shows him taking pictures of his house. “I did it 15 years ago, and I’m going to do it again,” he added.

Brian Chesky’s Airbnb listing includes a full bathroom with a large shower, a spacious chef’s kitchen, and a sunny living room with floor-to-ceiling windows. The home is also conveniently located, “My home is close to the Mission, Castro, and Noe Valley neighborhoods with plenty of shops, restaurants, and cafes,” Chesky wrote in the listing. “You’ll be steps away from beautiful Dolores Park, Bi-Rite ice cream, and the famous Tartine Bakery for fresh bread and pastries.”

This seems like the best way to encourage more people to become Airbnb hosts on the platform. Plus, there’s a significant enhancement to AirCover, the company’s protection plan for guests and hosts, which includes guest identity verification and technology to ensure suspicious party bookings are blocked.

Hosts can expect new features such as one-on-one orientation services for newbies. “Since the start of the pandemic, 60 million people have visited Airbnb to learn more about becoming a host,” Chesky wrote on Twitter. “Hopefully what we launched today inspires more to get started.”

Good luck with the SEO as it appears to have already been booked for the next 6 months.
