Blissful Airbnb built on an upstate waterfall! Is it affordable?

Have you ever scrolled through Tik Tok and watched videos that people post with the most beautiful views and scenery? Maybe it’s a place where they stay or travel, and always playing inspiring music in the background? I know it is – and when I see them, that’s when I start to contemplate my life, wondering why I rarely travel to southern New Jersey

Recently I came across a viral video of a woman named Kelly, who goes by kmspice on social media giant Tik Tok.

The 15-second music video shows a house in upstate New York that’s literally built over a waterfall – don’t ask me how that’s possible – but it’s pretty amazing.

His Tik Tok generated nearly a million likes and sent people (like me) rushing to find out where it is in New York.

My online journeys have brought me home – which is actually an Airbnb – in Roxbury, New York, about an hour and a half southwest of Albany in the Catskill Mountains, aptly called the Roxbury Waterfall House.

We are told availability is scarce (people seem to be not only chasing waterfalls but sleeping near the rivers and lakes we were used to) and if you can book a room the price is moderate at $300/night.

What the nearly 5-star rated Roxbury Waterfall House lacks in size, it more than makes up for in scenic beauty that truly makes it a one-of-a-kind magical experience worth the wait to stay!

Watch the viral Tik Tok kmspice here, followed by a photo gallery of the property, inside and out!
