COSI Group unveils NUMA as new international corporate brand
Germany: Berlin-based short-term rental technology provider and powerhouse of the commercial life asset class, the COSI Group, has unveiled its new international corporate brand – NUMA.
The brand’s strategy was developed with London-based design agency KOTO, who had previously worked with global clients such as Airbnb, Uber and Nike.
NUMA has also adapted a new brand language based on four key principles which it believes represent the company for its growing traveler base: “Undeniably personal”; “Unquestionably confident”; “Exceptionally simple”; and “Unlike other stars”.
Inga Svinhufvud Laudiero, Chief Creative Officer and Co-Founder of NUMA Group, said: “Under the guiding principle ‘Bring Some Soul to Travel’, we have created a new global brand experience with NUMA across all channels and across all points of contact. In a world of closed and faceless hotels, we are building a new way.
“We replace unnecessary hassle with simplicity and fun. By combining technology and taste in the greatest neighborhoods of the world, we create unabashed stays that are original and that match what people feel when they travel, ”she added.
The brand name change marks the latest step in the company’s growth trajectory, having recently acquired Spanish property management company Friendly Rentals and secured a € 20 million investment in March.
With a particular focus on hotels and commercial properties in central locations in major European cities, NUMA targets “bustling” neighborhoods in domestic markets in Germany and Austria, as well as Madrid and Barcelona in Spain. The company added that it was also in “advanced negotiations” on other international projects.
NUMA is supported by real estate group SORAVIA, technology funds e.Ventures and Cherry Ventures, and more than 30 technology entrepreneurs.
