Fred Schebesta: Into the wild New Year’s Eve party at Sydney’s Coogee Crypto Castle
The multi-millionaire dubbed Australia’s Crypto King celebrated the New Year with a wild party at his $17 million oceanfront mansion.
Fred Schebesta, 42, who founded comparison site Finder and is estimated to be worth around $200million, celebrated the first day of the year in style by filling his unique South Coogee home in Sydney with dancers and burlesque models.
The pool party in honor of her friend Miss B saw DJ Shiralee Coleman lead a number of acts, including racy dance performances from Porcelain Alice and Clara Fable.

Some donned racy bikinis making the most of the luxurious infinity pool.

While elegant white dresses were also very popular with partygoers.
There were a few who looked sheik all in black as the men mostly kept it casual in designer jeans and smart summer shirts.

But Mr Schebesta plans to keep his Coogee Crypto Castle – once owned by businessman John Singleton and used in various films including Eyes Wide Shut – for a bit longer
“It would be very, very difficult to find another place that comes close. And me and that’s what I’m looking for – very unique properties. Because I’m a pretty unique guy,” he told the The telegraph of the day recently.
The entrepreneur bought digital currency when Bitcoin was in its infancy, earning him massive returns.

In a 2021 interview with TikTok star Fonzie Gomez, he said the flashy five-bedroom property in South Coogee was bought with crypto profits.
“You are in the house of crypto. Crypto built this house,’ Mr Schebesta told Gomez, while showing the TikToker around his 800 square meter mansion.
The South Coogee home can be rented on Airbnb for just over $25,000 a night.
But Mr Schebesta plans to keep his Coogee Crypto Castle – once owned by businessman John Singleton and used in various films including Eyes Wide Shut – for a while longer.
