‘Had a Blast With Friends and Butta’ – Naomi Osaka thanks sponsors for enriching her successful run at Miami Open 2022

Japanese tennis star Naomi Osaka made it to a final after a long stretch at the Miami Open on Saturday. This came after some hard-to-accept results at various tournaments for the former world No.1. As a result, this event has become extremely special for Osaka.

Even though she lost to world No. 1 Iga Swiatek in straight sets in the final, Osaka admitted she was grateful for the experience and how things turned out.

Naomi Osaka recounts her experience in Miami

The four-time Grand Slam champion is very active on social media and recently posted about her time in Miami.

“Thank you Miami for everything, and to @airbnb to find a place to call home for the past few weeks. I had a blast with my friends and Butta definitely loved the 305,” she says in the message. In the carousel she posted, the first photo shows Naomi Osaka upping the glam quotient for what could be Kim Kardashian’s party for the launch of her SKIMS Swim collection ahead of the 2022 Miami Open.

In the next posts and videos, she is seen having fun with her friends and her adorable furry friend Butta. In one of the photos, she is seen cuddling Butta. She posted another short snippet of a video, where one of her friends is seen chasing Butta as they appear to be having a good time around the table in a sitting area.

Naomi Osaka said it was an amazing experience staying at an Airbnb, which is also one of her many sponsors. It made her feel at home and was therefore more comfortable to stay there.

We hope Osaka can maintain this positive mindset and continue to play the incredible tennis that we are used to seeing from her. While she had fallen to 77th place in the WTA rankings, she has now climbed several places and settled into 35th place, thanks to her efforts in Miami. If Osaka can maintain the same form in the clay-court season, she’ll be back at the top level in no time.
