A new week means new openings in Birmingham. Whether you’re looking for a new place to shop or a place to grab a bite to eat, check out these three openings.
1. KS Store | Gardendale
KS Store is Gardendale’s newest and most stylish boutique. I went to the grand opening on Saturday and pulled out the cutest new pants. Ladies, visit KS Boutique and thank me later!

2. Baja California Canteen | Irondale
Baja California Cantina opens its third location in Irondale and looks forward to serving the community. Currently in Hoover and Gardendale, this family run business serves fresh and mouth-watering Mexican cuisine. The restaurant plans to open at the end of January.
3. Crystal | Central point
Crystal opened its very first prototype of a new concept at Center Point. This includes:
- The new space is 20% smaller than the traditional Krystal
- It is designed for out-of-the-box orders
- Dual-track pickup and walk-in window
- Collection area for online orders + delivery by a third party
- No dining area so you can grab your food and go
Rest assured, their famous burgers with thin patties and steamed buns are still delicious.
