LEVEL airline offers direct flights from the west coast to Barcelona

West Coast travelers often look enviously at airline deals and schedules for crossing the Atlantic, but now a new direct flight from Los Angeles to Barcelona makes getting to the Old Country from the West Coast easier than ever.

LEVEL, which markets itself as a “low-cost long-haul airline”, has just launched a direct service between Los Angeles and the Spanish city, and has relaunched its similar trip from San Francisco. LEVEL is the only airline to fly directly from the west coast to Barcelona.

To board, prices start at $631 from LAX and $725 from SFO. Flights will pass through Los Angeles on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays and, starting June 1, on Wednesdays. Flights to San Francisco operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. During this summer, the airline is committed to offering more than twice as many seats between the United States and Barcelona as in 2019.

If you’re on the East Coast, you can still make a deal with LEVEL’s New York-Barcelona Connector and a route that leaves Boston on May 1.

LEVEL is part of the IAG group which also operates Aer Lingus, British Airways, Iberia, Iberia Express and Vueling. The airline began flights in 2017.
