Miniluxe has landed in Canada and is changing the world of nail salons

Transforming an entire industry is a huge undertaking, but a brand new to Canada MiniLuxe has a grand goal of revolutionizing the way customers can access nail care with digital reservations, mobile services and clean products, while providing nail designers with fair wages, safer working conditions and a access to growth opportunities.
MiniLuxe was born a little over a decade ago, founded by Boston-based venture capital firm Cue Ball with Canadian President Tony Tjan, who wanted to do for nail services what Starbucks did to elevate the Coffee. With its digital platform, MiniLuxe extends this vision to support a new generation of freelance workers, as Uber, Lyft and AirBnB have done. And as part of the “gig economy”, MiniLuxe seeks to become one of the biggest empowerment platforms for independent women.
Three years ago, the company recruited veteran lifestyle brand Zoe Krislock, who previously ran Nike Canada, to join the leadership of this clean beauty and personal care brand.
With manicure studios across the United States in Los Angeles, Boston, Dallas and Rhode Island, MiniLuxe has completed over two million services to date, all conducted in an ultra-hygienic manner using sustainable practices and its own. clean polish, nail care and skin care products. And Canadians are not left behind; MiniLuxe is expanding beyond the United States and plans to launch in Canada soon.

Better and safer working conditions
MiniLuxe aims to elevate the predominantly female workforce of the nail industry. As such, employees earn a fair wage with full transparency of tips and paid time off. MiniLuxe offers a whole range of clean products including nail polish, nail care, hand and body care. The best-selling cuticle oil is Environmental Working Group certified, and all other products are cruelty-free, vegan, and 8-free (meaning they’re free of eight common chemicals found in many polishes).
