Post Malone was nearly arrested for an upcoming ‘Impractical Jokers’

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – SEPTEMBER 04: Post Malone holds a Flamengo shirt on the Mundo stage during Rock in Rio festival at Cidade do Rock on September 4, 2022 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Hijinks always ensue on episodes of Inconvenient jokers. Our friend Jackson Blue from Boston Field Station Country 102.5 recently interviewed Inconvenient Wildcards‘ James ‘Murr’ Murray, who hinted at a wild shoot with Post Malone. When Jackson asked who his favorite star guest on the show was, Murr replied, “We just filmed the other day with Post Malone and we got a 911 call. We almost got Post Malone arrested. You will see it next season on the TV show. Well, that’s something to look forward to. He did not give further details, unfortunately.

We did, however, learn of Murr’s most painful challenge on the show: “Getting my nipples pierced.” They removed the rings but I think that stretched my nipples. He added: “My wife in the morning puts pasties under my shirts when I’m filming otherwise – thank goodness we don’t film in 3D.”

He also discussed the weirdest thing to happen with a fan encounter. “I was in the men’s room at Giants Stadium during halftime and I was at the urinal tight shoulder to shoulder with two guys and the guy to my left recognizes me, leans over to the urinal and whispers to me in her ear and said ‘Am I on TV right now?’ It was weird.

How do they still put on a show now that they’re famous? “There are 8 million people in New York. Besides, we don’t look famous. We look like pharmacists. People come up to me and say, ‘You look familiar, who are you?’ And I’m like, ‘Oh I work at Walgreens, your prescription is ready. Come in.'”

And funny enough, even though Jackson Blue is on a country radio station, when asked what his favorite country star was, Murr replied, “Uhhhhhhhhhhh.” When asked to name everything country artist, the answer was the same: “Uhhhhhhhhhhh”. Later in the interview, he named the late Kenny Rogers.

The Impractical Jokers will be on tour next year; go to their website for more details. Watch the full interview with Jack Blue here.
