Airport lounges were once exclusive meeting places for wealthy jet-setters and businessmen, but access to them is becoming increasingly accessible. Many airport lounges offer free Wi-Fi, pre-flight snacks and drinks, a quiet place to work, charge your devices and get away from the crowds. Heck, some even offer premium amenities like spa services, full showers, and nap pods. Unfortunately, these airline-specific lounges are usually reserved for first-class travelers and certain credit card holders.
Priority pass allows members access to these exclusive lounges (at select domestic and international airports) – even if you have a business or economy ticket – for an annual fee. The Third-Party Membership Program is designed to “turn the airport experience from a test of endurance into a moment of indulgence” by giving members access to over 1,300 lounges (including lounges airport, alliance and airline) worldwide. Priority Pass offers three levels of membership: Standard ($99 per year), Standard Plus ($329 per year), and Prestige ($469 per year). You have access to Priority Pass Lounges immediately after signing up for a pass, so if you ever find yourself in the middle of airport anxiety with no place to seek refuge, consider becoming a Priority Pass member right away!
