Sarah Jessica Parker hosts Carrie Bradshaw’s apartment (and closet) on Airbnb
To celebrate the upcoming release of HBO Max Original And Just Like That…, the highly anticipated new chapter of Sex and the City, the award-winning actress and producer opens the doors to Carrie Bradshaw’s New York brownstone, in partnership with Airbnb and Warner Bros. Consumer Products.
Hopeless romantics can sip Cosmopolitans, type thoughtfully on their laptops, and chat with friends on a 2000-odd cordless phone in Carrie’s Upper East Side apartment. For the first time ever, guests will enjoy unique access to the style icon’s closet (tutu too!), alongside fabulous, friendship-centric experiences like brunch at Chelsea and a photo shoot on fashion.
It’s been more than 20 years since hapless romance advice columnist Carrie Bradshaw came into our lives — in stilettos, no less — on Sex and the City. As anticipation grows to revisit the beloved character in her new chapter, And Just Like That…, Sarah Jessica Parker adds Airbnb Host to her repertoire and treats fans to a one-of-a-kind stay at Carrie’s apartment – worthy luxury closet included.
Sarah Jessica Parker will host two overnight stays for up to two guests each at a Carrie Brownstone reenactment on November 12-13 for just $23* a night, in honor of 23 years since that we discovered the avant-garde icon and his friends.
“The character of Carrie Bradshaw is near and dear to my heart, and revisiting her world for the continuation of the Sex and the City story has been such a joy,” Parker said. “I’m thrilled that our audience will experience Carrie’s New York like never before and walk in her shoes, literally, for the first time.”
So we couldn’t help but wonder…what would a night at Carrie’s be like? During their stay, guests will be immersed in a quintessential Carrie experience with a virtual welcome to the taping of Sarah Jessica Parker herself, and narration reminiscent of each episode’s empowering intro, the opportunity to take down the steps from her brownstone and strolling the streets of Manhattan (splashing a city bus not included), cosmopolitans for a toast, the chance to admire and dress up in Carrie’s iconic closet, with her favorite looks (like the Patricia Field tutu she wears in the opening credits), designers and of course shoes!
To celebrate Carrie’s return to television screens, Airbnb will make a one-time donation to the Studio Museum in Harlem, a contemporary art museum that champions the work of artists of African descent.
