The result is a bright and airy space, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Mostly thanks to a loft-style master bedroom, which keeps the open floor plan intact while giving you some privacy. Is the kitchen layout a little weird? Sure, but it’s an easy compromise for us.
Of course, the main attraction here is the location. We weren’t kidding about the beachfront setting, because this Vancouver Island Airbnb is literally steps from the ocean. And for us, there’s nothing better than waking up to a coffee on the terrace while you take in all the sights around you.
Our advice? Since this is a good drive north of Nanaimo, it’s a great opportunity to experience a less touristy part of the area. Everyone has been to Victoria and Tofino, but you’ll be hard pressed to find such a nice place for the same price in those places.
So keep that in mind if you’re looking for somewhere off the beaten path destination this summer! We know we will.
