The last thing you need most to fall asleep for a peaceful night’s sleep is to be in a bed straight out of a horror movie, but that’s what some people have faced thanks to to some rather baffling bed designs.
Social media users around the world have been sharing snaps of the most gruesome and confusing beds, with the best examples collated in a gallery by MyDiWise.
One snap shows one bed in the form of a huge teddy bear hovering menacingly over the sleeper, while another appears to be floating a foot off the ground.
Meanwhile, a box supported by a stick shaped like an animal trap is someone’s sleeping situation, while another chooses a coffin for their temporary resting place.
