Step back to the 1800s with this ranch south of Laramie

I’m a sucker for a historic house. I’ve owned two houses in my life, and both are older houses. I have a gender. My current house was built in the 1940s, yes, 80 years ago. It’s crazy that a house in the 1940s would be considered historic, I mean, our state was only a state for 50 years at that point, so I get it.

I was looking Zillow and dreaming of winning the Powerball, as one does, and found this absolute gem of a historic ranch south of Laramie. It’s really cool to find a house built in the 1800s in Wyoming, let alone an entire ranch. According to the listing on Zillow, this is Harney Creek Ranch and the house was built in 1870! As I mentioned earlier, my 1940s house was built 50 years after Wyoming became a state, well, this ranch was built before Wyoming was a state.

I’m in love.

The listing also indicates that this property comprises 592 acres. That’s a lot of ground to really get away from people. If you look at the drone photo, there isn’t much around the property. For what feels like miles. Just beautiful land and rolling hills in Wyoming. The property also has tons of space and storage. It seems that even garages have garages.

Are you ready to see the updates and pieces of love put into this historic Wyoming ranch? Go ahead, wipe your feet and take a trip back to the 1800s with this beautiful Wyoming home.
