The 10 Best Hotels in Las Vegas

With around 150,000 rooms available, competition among hotels in Sin City is particularly fierce. Since non-gambling tourist dollars make up over 50% of revenue, the best resorts in Las Vegas strive to deliver the most over-the-top experiences in order to earn their share of the pie. With so many happenings, it’s no surprise that Travel + Leisure readers love to take full advantage of all that’s on offer along the city’s iconic 4.2-mile Strip.

Every year for our The best prices in the world survey, T+L asks readers to weigh in on travel experiences around the world – to share their opinions on the best hotels, resorts, cities, islands, cruise ships, spas, airlines, and more. Hotels (including safari lodges) have been rated about their facilities, location, service, food and overall value. Properties have been categorized as city hotel, resort or safari lodge depending on their location and amenities.

Returning to our list and entering at No. 3 is the 188-room Cromwell. Readers love that it’s “right in the middle of the strip.” Perched on its rooftop is Drai’s Night and Beach Club, which offers guests sweeping views, weekend bacchanalia, and a surprisingly relaxed midweek vibe. Not to be outdone, The Venetian (#5) recently completed refreshing its entire pool deck and spent $50 million on its TAO Beach Dayclub renovation alone.

Guests of the Aria (#8) rate the newly renovated Sky Suites as “magnificent”, while noting that “the restaurant selection is above and beyond”. (Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten has an outpost there, as does the Major Food Group of Carbone.) Likewise, the culinary offerings at Cosmopolitan (No. 2), which includes a hidden nine-seat restaurant called é par José Andrés, was hailed as “fabulous” by several T+L readers.

Those looking for a little more Zen tend to like the “exclusivity” of the Four Seasons (#4), which sits at the top of Mandalay Bay, and Vdara (#9), which, like the Four Seasons is not a game.

Topping our list is once again the incomparable Wynn Las Vegas, the only property in town to score over 90 points. Read on to understand what sets Wynn apart and what other properties make this year’s list.

Hot off the heels of a one-bedroom renovation with a price tag of over $200 million, it’s no surprise that the Wynn Las Vegas is “the pinnacle of Las Vegas lodging panache,” as it’s said. a reader. Respondents love the “beautiful” spa, the “exceptional service” and the excellent restaurants. Wynn prides itself on having the food personally prepared by its renowned chefs. (One WBA voter loved Chef Min Kim’s Japanese cuisine at Mizumi in particular.) Wynn’s SW steakhouse and Wing Lei’s fine-dining Chinese restaurant are also among the best in town. Those looking for a bit of socializing can check out the hotel’s new collection of cocktail lounges or dance the night away at XS in the Encore resort next door to the Wynn.
