We tell the truth! Friends don’t lie!

If you’re planning a quick getaway, to The Upside Down perhaps, then where better to stay than an iconic location in stranger things.

Yes, located in Georgia, a staple of the Netflix show’s first series and home to this iconic scene with the fairy lights, the Byers’ house has just been bought for $300k (£268,400).

The new owner plans to list the property on the rental app, apparently in time for Halloween.

Katie Siplon of TriCounty Real Estate in Savannah, Georgia said TMZ that one of his clients had “seized the property”.

The residence, which comprises 1,846 square feet and six acres of land, was paid for in cash.

Siplon said the new owner will replicate the Byers’ home “to a T” and even give some rooms an “upside-down” feel.

But the Byers house isn’t the only Stranger Things place you can book on Airbnb. Also on the app is the family’s new California residence, which Will (Noah Schnapp), Joyce (Winona Ryder), Jonathan (Charlie Heaton) and Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) move into at the end of the third season. .

Ryan and Karen Asher own the New Mexico home.

“We were originally going to move into the house until we figured out how stranger things became,” they said Newsweek in July. “We decided to make it an Airbnb in order to share the house with others to enjoy it as well.”

They continued, “We love watching the stranger things the excitement of fans as they stop to peek around the house or ask to take a photo.

“Of course, we’re big fans too, and Season 4 has become our favorite by far. Going back in time and being able to present this time capsule of a house has been an amazing experience.”

Related stranger things news, editorial staff recently confirmed that work had begun on the script for the next final season.

Maybe there will be new pitches that can be rented in there!
