The Grinch’s Lair is now available for rent on Who-bnb

Already dreading family arguments and the stress of Christmas dinner? Well, The Grinch’s Lair is now taking reservations – so you can get away to Mount Crumpit and escape the holiday madness there.

The Dr. Seuss anti-hero spent his time stewing in his lair, which has now been faithfully recreated by rental company Vacasa. The remote property is based just outside of Whoville (Boulder, Utah for us), and even comes with its own organ and drum kit, so you can recreate your favorite tunes from “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.”

There’s plenty of space to sequester stolen gifts, including a master bedroom, guest bedroom, office, two bathrooms, and a music room. And believe us, it’s not just the furniture that suits the Grinch: if you hunt hard enough, you’ll find green pants, a Santa costume, and half-created Who gear. Plus, there’s Who-pudding, Who-hash, and roast beef in the kitchen, in case you get hungry.

Reservations are open for a limited time only on Vacasawith stays available from December 13-23. It’s only $19.57 a night (that’s the year the book first came out), but if you can’t get a seat, you can also take a virtual tour here.
