“The customers want you both dead.” Netflix has unveiled the first official trailer for an action comedy titled The man from Toronto, which was originally a studio production at Sony/Columbia Pictures. They sold it to Netflix to launch this streaming rather than in theaters nationwide. This now opens at the end of the month on Netflix. A case of mistaken identity comes after a failed sales consultant and the world’s deadliest assassin – known only as ‘the man from Toronto’ – got mixed up during an Airbnb rental . Featuring Kevin Hart and Woody Harrelson like the two who must team up, with Kaley Cuoco, Jasmine Mathews, Lela Loren, Pierson Fode like “The Man From Miami” another assassin, Jencarlos Canelaand Ellen Barkin. It doesn’t look entirely original, but it looks like comedy fun with friends. Harrelson is the strongest performance here, though the humor between him and Hart is what will make this one fly…or not.

The screenplay is written by Robbie Fox and Chris Bremner, from a story by Robbie Fox and Jason Blumenthal. Produced by Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, Steve Tisch.
