THE most popular holiday destinations to visit in 2023 have been revealed – and a Spanish hotspot has taken the top spot.
The recent study, made by Airbnblooked at the trending destinations for the next 12 months.

The research looked at searches done in 2022 for breaks in 2023, compared to searches in 2021 for breaks in 2022.
Malaga in Spain – a popular holiday destination for Britons – took the top spot.
The city is known to be the birthplace of Pablo Picasso, as well as the gateway to the Costa del Solalthough having 16 of its own beaches.
Malaga is still one of the the cheapest European cities to travel towith several airlines competing from regional airports.


And the new easyHotel Malaga City Center also makes your stay a bargain with rooms from just £35 a night.

Malaga was the only European destination to feature in the top 10 according to Airbnb.
Other destinations included Sydney, melbourne and Perth in Australia.
Auckland and Queenstown in New Zealand also made the cut.
And three destinations in Brazil made the top 10, with Bangkok in Thailand.
Other travel experts have also revealed the top vacation destinations to visit in 2023.
List of Rough Guides includes Leeds as one of the best places thanks to the city’s food scene, art galleries and theatres.
And Wales made the list for Conde Nastwhich praised its outdoor hiking trails as well as its “rejuvenated foodie scene.”
If you are looking for the destinations with the best value for moneya survey conducted by Starling Bank found the capital of Portugal Lisbon be the best value.
