This Airbnb in Ontario has a lavender farm where you can sip wine and bask in purple flowers

There are a bunch of Airbnbs in Ontario you could visit this summer, and there’s one where you might even see the lavender flowers blooming in June.

This Airbnb in Saint Anns is just a 40-minute drive from Niagara-on-the-Lake and is on a farm where visitors can browse vegetable and lavender fields during their stay.

Called The Carriage House, it is an apartment on Beamsville Bench with a patio and private entrance.

If you are looking to watch the sun go down there is an upper patio which overlooks the farmhouse and fields.

The interior is an open concept layout with a king bed that sleeps two adults and a bathroom. However, if you have a small child, they have a high chair, cot and pack ‘n play handy.

You can also spend a comfortable night, as its kitchenette is equipped with a magic bullet, a toaster oven, a coffee maker and a stove if you do not want to eat out.

For those who want to barbecue in the evening, this Airbnb also comes with a barbecue on the private terrace. And there are also lounge chairs and a TV if you fancy a movie.

On the first morning they will bless you with sourdough bread, bacon and eggs from local suppliers, and a bottle of wine so you can enjoy a picnic in their vegetable and flower fields in Mingle Hill Farms.

No blankets? No problem, because in addition to wine they have blankets and pillows so you can sit and enjoy the atmosphere. Cultivate in their fields are also herbs and other flowers like sage, oregano, roman chamomile, yarrow, etc.

Visitors are invited to roam their 4-acre lawns as well as their private gardens, 7-acre plant farm and wooden pavilions during their stay.

The hosts work and live on site where the farm is located and they have noted in their listing that they have two friendly dogs that are in the area. There is also internet in the apartment as well as access to Amazon Prime and Netflix.

If you want to see the lavender flowers bloom this summer, you will have to try to book between June 15 and the last weekend of August.
