This Italian ‘Trullo’ cabin is available on Airbnb until the fall
Along the Italian coast of Puglia, the fields are dotted with trulli. These traditional dry stone huts have beautiful white conical roofs that stand out from the landscape. And although they were often originally built as warehouses or temporary shelters for farm workers, they are now increasingly being transformed into charming historic vacation rentals.
This trullo, near the beautiful whitewashed town of Ostuni, is one of the prettiest we have ever seen. Available for rent on Airbnb In October and November, the private little cabana has a bathroom, kitchenette and outdoor dining area, plus access to a rather striking infinity pool (which is shared with two other properties ).

It’s the perfect setup for a romantic weekend. At £45 ($59, A$82) a night, it’s quite affordable. And frankly, you’d be hard-pressed to imagine a more idyllic setting than these: the area’s terraced countryside is teeming with olive, almond, fig and pear trees (and you can pick and eat some yourself ). Trulli, it’s the stuff of amazingly achievable dreams.
