this new Airbnb apartment in Harajuku looks like a fanciful wonderland

Known for its range of elaborate and artistic themed apartments, Moshi Moshi Rooms unveiled their latest live-in masterpiece. The original place – and the fully equipped short-term rental apartment – is called Harajuku and it’s pretty much a compendium of all the kawaii elements for which the Tokyo district is famous. Fittingly enough, you’ll find it in Harajuku, in the same building as the other three Moshi Moshi rooms.

Walk through the entrance arch and you’ll feel like you’ve stepped into Alice in Wonderland – the room is filled with colorful animal statues, furniture, plants, and more.

The living room looks like a small museum, with empty frames and more original art objects.

The bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, and with a sofa bed in the living room and an additional air mattress, the apartment can accommodate up to four people.

There is also a fully equipped – and no less colorful – kitchen with a microwave and refrigerator.

Even the tableware matches the room and comes in different pastel colors. Also be sure to explore the building’s rooftop terrace, which offers great views of Harajuku.

Stays start from 40,000 per night. Note that the apartment is on the third floor and that the building does not have an elevator. However, you can ask for help with your luggage during check-in. Just be sure to mention it when you reservation.
