Tony Yayo recalls Jimmy Henchman’s failed attempt to assassinate 50 Cent

The beef enters Jimmy henchman and 50 cents nearly resulted in the murder of the founder of G-Unit.

In a recent interview with G-Unit member VladTV Tony Yayo shed more light on Henchman’s infamous attempt to kill Fif, which took place on the set of 50 Cent’s music video and Akon’s 2007 single “I’ll Still Kill.”

“On the paperwork, Henchman and them were supposed to pass but I guess their gun got stuck, but we had God on our side,” Yayo said. Vlad TV. “And they backed off on the spot, but we also had straps, and that was really it.”

Yayo confirmed that Henchman’s people have silencers on their guns, which has been rumored for a long time.

“No one saw them, they were supposedly following a car. I don’t know which car because it was like three or four different cars,” Yayo explained. “If you had fired I’m sure someone would have fired back but you have a silencer which probably gave you the upper hand but I guess they didn’t know how to handle the gun or something .

Yayo added, “It’s in the papers, and the gun exploded in the car. So when the gun went off in the car, I guess it jammed and they gave up on what they wanted to do; therefore God is good. I guess God was on our side at that time.

Back in 2018, Henchman received a life sentence plus 30 years for the murder of G-unit affiliate Lowell “Lodi Mack” Fletcher.

The case stems from a 2007 incident in which Fletcher and Tony Yayo assaulted Henchman’s son. Although both perpetrators were charged in the attack, Henchman allegedly struck Fletcher after he was released from prison. Henchman was charged with four crimes, including murder-for-hire, in 2015 and was sentenced to life plus 20 years.

Henchman appealed the conviction and was eventually granted a new trial; however, he was found guilty, once again, in November 2017.
