Tourist checks into Welsh holiday home and finds VERY strange stranger in bed

A TOURIST has shared the hilarious moment she checked into a Welsh Airbnb, only to see a sheep standing on one of the beds.

Find unexpected extras while checking out in a hotel is usually a pleasant surprise, but these extras are very rarely cattle.

That’s exactly what a guest faced when he arrived at his holiday home in Wales this summer.

The photo was uploaded by the comedian Wendy Wasonwho said it was her friend who encountered the intruder while on vacation.

Whether or not her friend counted the animal to help her derive is not clear.

The irony of this happening in Wales has not escaped others, who have commented on the image on social media.

One said: “It’s so Wales. I love this country!”

Another wrote: ‘If your Welsh Airbnb doesn’t come with a complementary sheep, you’re not in Wales.’

Others, on the other hand, were enthusiastic about the prospect of spending their holidays in the company of sheep.

One said, “This is the kind of place I want to stay!”

Another asked, “Where should I book?”

Although the sheep may not have been an intentional animal experiment, there are some wildlife encounters which can be booked through Airbnb.

Afternoon tea with a pair of Herdwick sheep is available to book in Loch Lomond.

Elsewhere in Miami, you can pay to paddleboard with a corgi called Mr Beaches or join experts who study arctic fox habitats near Súðavík in Iceland.

In the meantime, these are some of the the weirdest Airbnbs available worldwide, including a cow-shaped lodge.

And in Kent you can book to sleep in a safari park surrounded by some animals.
