Two Florida mansions built for $54 million identical twin listing – Robb Report

Double the mansions, double the fun?

Two mansions side by side in Fort Lauderdale, built for the twin brothers and their families, just hit the market together for $54 million. The French country-style homes face each other on over 11 acres of lush grounds and are separated only by a man-made lake.

The houses are listed by chiropractor Robert Lewin, who lived in the larger of the two (at 13000 Lane) with his wife Lisa and their four daughters. The open-air residence spans nearly 17,000 square feet and features seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a staff bedroom, two half baths, and a guest house. Across the road, Robert’s twin brother, Harley Lewin, and his two sons have taken up residence in a slightly smaller 14,485 square foot (13001 Lewin Lane) mansion set in 3.6 acres. It includes five bedrooms and six full bathrooms.

Both houses were designed by the architect Jeffrey Dungan and completed in 2020, according to co-listers Jill Eber, Jon Mann and Jill Hertzberg of the group Jills Zeder. Both feature neutral interior design by Josh Fein of Interiors Fein Zalkin. For the larger house, Fein created a progression of slender rooms adorned with natural materials, including limestone floors, French oak ceilings, and a custom stone staircase. The double-height great room leads to an outdoor seating area by the pool.

Designed to entertain, 13000 Lewin Lane’s has a dining room that can accommodate up to 18 people. In the kitchen, you’ll find top-of-the-line appliances including a Wolf gas range and Sub-Zero refrigerator encased in golden Calcatta marble countertops and custom oak wood cabinetry. The master bedroom on the first floor is equally upscale. It houses a huge two-story closet, as well as an en-suite bathroom with a view of the private garden, a Waterworks bathtub and a marble shower.

The larger home also offers a theater, office spaces, an outdoor kitchen, two separate three-car garages, and a Generac industrial generator capable of powering the entire home.

Although it features a similar aesthetic, 13001 Lewin Lane has its own unique offerings. Its spacious living room has two McLain Wiesand chandeliers and a black granite fireplace wall to match a personalized book. A large aquarium separates this space and the dining room, which can accommodate 20 people.

The master bedroom of the house has hardwood floors, a living room, Donghia wood veneer wall coverings, a walk-in closet and a TV projector hidden in the ceiling. Her master bathroom features a large steam shower with sliding doors that open to a full outdoor shower next to a sunken tub. Other special amenities on 13001 include three Sub-Zero wine coolers, an outdoor infinity pool, covered patio, game room, and enough garage space for four cars.

“With exquisite appointments everywhere, these homes feel like they’re immersed in the beauty of France,” co-listing agent Jon Mann said in a statement. “The grounds are absolutely stunning, making this property a private and charming paradise.”
