One of the biggest fundraisers for the United Way of Southwest Oklahoma and North Texas, in addition to employee salary contributions, is the Blue Tie Gala fundraiser.

COVID-19 has caused Centraide to cancel the gala for the past few years, and even to try to make the event virtual, but nothing beats an in-person event!
This year, the event will be back bigger and better than ever, and you have the opportunity to help support United Way with sponsorship dollars.
United Way of Southwest Oklahoma will host its 5th Annual Blue Tie Gala on Friday, September 9, 2022 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Lawton, OK.
This year’s event is a ‘Wanderlust’ theme and will feature entertainment by the incredible ‘Royal Dukes Band’. and basic needs that are provided by our 19 funded partner organizations.
“I am delighted with our 5th annual campaign launch event as it is safe to meet in person after two years. Last year’s online auction was a huge success, and I look forward to another sold-out evening of entertainment and inspiration as we celebrate the start of our annual fundraising campaign. Community support for this event means a lot to our organization, and we plan to make it a night to remember! said President and CEO Lauren Ellis.
