Disc golf is a popular recreational sport right now. Many disc golf courses have opened, including a new one in Rochester, MN that opened last year. Still another disc golf course opened in the southeastern Minnesota area, but this one has a unique theme.
Whether Willow’s Keep Farm sounds familiar, that’s because it’s the location of popular events like the hemp maze and Fear on the Farm. Yes, the big hemp house and maze you see from 52 to Zumbrota. They are the ones who created the brand new disc golf course. Can you guess the theme?
Of course, it’s a cannabis-themed disc golf course and it’s the first of its kind according to the Minnesota Hemp Maze Facebook Page.
Speaking of the Hemp Maze, the Hemp Maze and Cannabis Disc Golf Course just opened on July 16th. They are both open until October 30 while the store is open. Store hours are Monday through Friday 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday noon to 5 p.m. Bring your own records or you can purchase records from the store. They also offer rentals for a $5 deposit. FYI, it looks like they need some money for the record rental.
I’ve played disc golf a few times and it’s fun, but I’m pretty bad! My husband, on the other hand, has played a lot more than me, so I’m sure this will be a place he’d love to check out.

Spend the Night with Chickens at Unique Minnesota Airbnb
I always love looking at unique places to stay and usually find them on Airbnb. This place in northern Minnesota called AirB-n-BAWK gives you the chance to spend the night right next to the chickens on the farm and you can help out with the farm chores. There are two different houses you can stay in called The Nest and The Perch.
