Welcome to Ridge Haven – a cozy Airbnb cabin in the Catskill Mountains – Presented by ALLUVION MEDIA
One enters Ridge Haven via a winding gravel driveway that leads to a private escape. This 5 acre woodland retreat is heavily forested and out of the elements best to come with a 4×4 during the winter months! The house has a comfortable open layout where the fully equipped kitchen flows into the dining room and living room to allow for maximum relaxation and ease of use. Sit at the breakfast bar, listen to music on the Sonos sound system and recharge in this space. There are polished concrete floors, radiant heating, a large ceiling fan and a wood burning fireplace.
Walking down the hall you will notice two comfortable bedrooms. The master has a queen bed and the guest bedroom has a full size bed. Both have ceiling fans to help keep cool. As is typical in this area of the Catskills, there is no air conditioning in the house. However, concrete floors and fans keep the interior comfortable in all seasons. At the end of the hall, light a candle and take a soak in the tub of the huge full bathroom overlooking the woods.
If you prefer to be outdoors, take advantage of the large deck, use the grill (propane included) and dine under the lights at the outdoor table for six. There are two Adirondack chairs on the deck, perfectly situated for morning coffee. In the evening, climb some stone steps to the upper lawn where the fire pit and seating area await! Firewood is provided. Pour yourself a hot toddy and take in the incredible stargazing on a clear night.
The house has fast Wi-Fi for those working remotely. Ridge Haven is ideal for up to 6 adults. Families are also welcome – there are no stairs and we have both a Pack N’ Play and a folding high chair for your use.
