Wildlife Safari Park near Ashland to extend season

The Lee G. Simmons Wildlife Safari Park near Ashland is extending its season with mild fall weather.

The park will be open every day until Sunday. After that, the park will be open on Saturdays and Sundays weather permitting. It is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“The mild fall allows us all to enjoy the wildlife safari park a little longer this year,” said Safari Park Superintendent Gary Pettit. “The colors and the change of seasons are beautiful, so hopefully lots of people will find the time to get out and enjoy it.”

Admission is $9 for ages 12-64. Children 3-11 are $7. Senior admission is $8. Subscriptions, valid for one year from date of purchase, are available for $65.
