A woman was left mortified after receiving a text message from her Airbnb host to pick up her sex toy.
The author, Kristen Arnett from Miami, took to Twitter to share the awkward exchange. She said the host sent her a picture of the device in the bed, adding, “They offered to keep it for us, for our next stay.”
In the viral post which garnered thousands of replies, retweets and likes, Arnett said, “We left Airbnb and this is what the host just sent, I’m literally in tears.”
The text asked Arnett if she was nearby. They added: “Do you want me to put him out on the bench? Then you can pass.
Social media users flocked to the post with their own hilarious and embarrassing experiences.

One of them explained how they had made a burglary and the criminal had left all of the woman’s adult toys on the bed. “Police said I had to leave them there for crime scene photos, my dad laughed,” she wrote.
Another clumsy blunder resulted in a child pointing at a scorching device and saying, “here’s your bone, mum”. The Twitter user added, “I keep wondering why he called it that. Hahahahah.”
A third shared, “I had a bag vibrating loudly at baggage claim THREE TIMES! And once my bag was inspected at Mexican customs while vibrating. The brass just has to shit. That u makes you stronger.”
Others didn’t find the story as funny and instead felt secondary embarrassment: “Some things you’re supposed to take with you to the grave… This is one of them” , said one of them.
While another person asked, “Honestly, am I the only one who has never taken a sex toy with me on a trip?”
