Where they went in Arizona
“The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” Ends their daughters’ trip to Arizona in season three, episode four, airing October 19.
Turns out “there was nothing fun about it,” according to cast member Heather Gay.
Spending a few days on the Phoenix subway was supposed to boost Jen Shah’s spirits ahead of her trial date.
But apparently no amount of drinking on a party bike and heal with a shaman helped the reality TV star, who after the season filmed, pleaded guilty a conspiracy to commit wire fraud in an alleged nationwide telemarketing scheme. Shed has already pleaded not guilty charges related to wire fraud and money laundering.

What RHOSLC stars really think about Arizona
There was no love lost between Heather and Arizona State – who she previously called “Utah’s redhead stepson” – after the trip, which lasted episodes two to four. .
However, Meredith Marks seemed to think fondly of the Valley, as she revealed in Episode 4 that she lived in Scottsdale for a year as a child to help her sister’s chronic bronchitis.
As the cast dined at Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row, she remembered that she liked to go to a restaurant called Pinnacle Peak (presumably the Western-themed restaurant). Pinnacle Peak Patio Steakhousewhich closed in 2015) with her father.
Regardless of whether the cast members had a great time, Phoenix got a good amount of screen time in the episodes. Here are the locations that have been featured on RHOSLC.
Exclusive:You can rent the Phoenix Airbnb featured on ‘Real Housewives’
A ‘massively outdated’ Airbnb mansion in Deer Valley
The mansion the women rented for three episodes was allegedly in Scottsdale, according to the chyrons. However, some excavations revealed that the 5.5 acre property was, in fact, in Phoenix – specifically, Deer Valley.
“It literally looks like Barbie’s dream house,” Lisa Barlow said in Episode 2. “Around 1984, (that) house is massively outdated. But I think it’s a good party house.
In this seven-bedroom “ultra-luxe mansion” – as advertised on Airbnb and VRBO; you can rent it for $1,650 to $2,600 a night, with a three-night minimum stay — the women hosted a lingerie night that ended with Whitney and Heather’s friendship on the brink of collapse. Jen enlisted her makeup artist to lead Meredith and Heather in a twerking lesson in the living room.
Early in their stay, Whitney Rose hired a shaman, Kseniya, to help the women embark on a healing journey. It certainly didn’t help Whitney and Heather, but by the end of the trip, Meredith and Lisa seemed to have made amends for the first time since Lisa said unflattering things about Meredith during a hot moment at the mic last season.
Whiskey Row in Old Town Scottsdale
In episode 3, the cast of RHOSLC boarded the “Jen Shah express”, aka an Arizona Party Bike, because “booze and bike rides are what this group needs right now”, according to Lisa.
The women used the canned wine and hard seltzer available to them both imbibing and pouring alcohol on each other on the motorized bike, driven by party captain Kevin.
In episode 4, the women – minus Jen, who had taken a red eye in New York for trial preparations – dined at Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row in Scottsdale. They were served Don Julio 1942 tequila and toasted to love, peace, friendship and honesty before entering the drama of the night.
Over orders for American sliders, hot Tennessee sliders and salads, Whitney confronted Heather about what she considered a hurtful argument the night before at lingerie night. When it looked like they had reached a detente, Meredith suggested they “just have fun for a minute” before heading out the next day.
They played well the rest of the evening and discussed what they did and didn’t know about Jen’s upcoming trial as Lisa sipped a very large cup of QuickTrip soda.
Escaramuza in the village of Laveen
According to Lisa Barlow, “When you think of Arizona, you definitely think of rodeo.”
So the women head south to Corona Ranch and Rodeo Grounds in the village of Laveen, where they watched local band Escaramuza Charra Rayenari perform choreographed routines while sitting side-saddle on their horses. (Escaramuza is a Mexican rodeo-like sport and the women’s version of charrería.)
The actors tried horseback riding as skirmishes patiently guided them around the room.
Whitney visited her family at Queen Creek
Whitney parted ways with the group in Episode 4 for a solo trip to Queen Creek. It was not the oil mill that drew her to the town across the county (about 60 miles) from where the women were staying.
She visited her half-siblings, Curtis and Kelli, who live in the area, to get some insight into a childhood trauma she had recently uncovered.
