Jersey Shore Crew wants to film a new show in another NJ beach town

The producers behind MTV’s hugely popular reality show Jersey Shore are looking for another Jersey Shore town to film a new show, according to shore beat.

The production company 495 Productions is actively looking for a set for a new show “documentary style” on the two barrier islands of Ocean County. They are looking to film throughout July and into August. The concept of the show seems similar to the original Jersey Shore on MTV.

The first city to reject the offer to be part of the project was Lavallette. The Lavallette borough council met Monday evening and informed residents of the proposal and the reaction was not good. A resident couldn’t help herself and shouted, “Oh no, please, no Snooki.” Lol.

Poor Snooki is in bad shape. She was just having fun at Seaside. Lol.

A local business owner said the town was already short of police and suggested the town defend its integrity, not destroy it with a TV show like this.

Lavallette Mayor Walter LaCicero is aware that other nearby towns have also contacted the same filming request. He said: “I understand they covered every town on the two barrier islands with applications in the hope that someone would say yes.”

It was enough to convince Lavallette of a “no”. City officials voted unanimously NOT to allow the production company to film the new show.
