Leeds Building Society appoints Ryatt and Kaur to key mortgage and customer service roles

The mutual says Ryatt’s more than 20 years of experience in operational areas of the financial services industry would strengthen its management team.

She joins MacMillan Cancer Support where she worked for four years, leaving as Head of Service Operations in August.

Prior to that, she spent more than 21 years at Santander in a range of management roles, before becoming head of systems administration and command center in 2016.

Leeds Building Society chief executive Richard Fearon said: “Jenny [Ryatt] brings with her a wealth of knowledge, experience and understanding of financial services and her proven track record in leading operational areas will further strengthen our existing leadership team to advance the achievement of our objective.

The company says Kaur is a qualified accountant with over 25 years of financial services experience who has worked in sales, data operations, audit, risk, change management and customer operations.

She comes from Lloyd’s of London, where she worked as Chief Operating Officer.

Previously, she spent a decade at ABN Amro in a variety of roles before taking over as head of its national contact center in 2010.

Kaur says: “We are currently in a very challenging market environment, so it is essential that we continue to provide a first class experience to all of our customers and support them as we face a cost of living crisis. “.

Fearon adds: “UK consumers are facing a very difficult time, so his experience will be essential as we continue to put our customers at the forefront of everything we do.

“Parveen [Kaur] is passionate about transforming the financial services industry to enable it to become a more inclusive, accessible and safer industry for all customers.
