Airbnb, the home rental platform, is giving away $10 million to the 100 craziest space ideas. Know how to apply.
Do you like to design quirky and crazy spaces? If yes, then there is a great opportunity for you to pocket a whopping $10 million. Airbnb is offering $10 million to 100 selected participants to turn their wild ideas into revenue streams. Yes! The home rental platform announced the OH MY GOD! Funds, asking people to submit “amazing” ideas to build “the craziest spaces in the world”. Participants should send their applications to the OMG! Funds through the official Airbnb website. Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky announced the same via a series of tweets. He wrote: “We’re giving away $10,000,000 to create the craziest places in the world – 100 people will get $100,000 each.”
In other Tweeter, he shared that entrants will be required to write about their ideas in 500 words which will be reviewed by a panel of judges. The top 100 applicants will receive $100,000 to turn their imaginations into reality and build some of the most original homes.

Now write your ideas in almost 500 words and submit them.
As examples, Airbnb has listed various properties including startup shaped space, a UFO, and a massive potato shaped space. “We want to make it easier to create more of these homes,” Chesky wrote on Twitter. If selected, applicants will have the opportunity to share their vision in more detail, with plans, plans and a video. Entries will be judged by renowned interior designers Iris Apfel, architect Koichi Takada, Bruce Vaughn and Kristie Wolfe.
