I don’t know about you, but we’re always looking for our next weekend getaway spot, and nothing grabs our attention more than a cute, cozy cottage in a scenic setting – and that’s exactly what we found In the woods.
This beautiful Airbnb is located in Palmwoods, a quiet town in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, just off the Pacific Highway. Nestled on a lush 6.5 acre property that was once a pineapple farm, the one bedroom cottage is the ultimate escape from everyday life, and perfect for anyone who wants to get away from it all but also enjoys digging of creators, good wifi and places to eat nearby.
The cottage itself is a real stunner inside and out – think beach bohemian vibe, four poster bed, flowing white curtains, wicker furniture and upcycled vintage pieces. As well as all the comforts you need for a country getaway, including a Netlfix compatible TV, Nespresso machine and kitchenette, you’ll take full advantage of a wood-fired pizza oven, outdoor fireplace and, even better, an outdoor bath among the trees with enough room for two. Cue the romance.
While you can just relax with a good movie or browse the property during the stay, Into The Woods is also perfectly located for a bit of exploring. The hinterland towns of Montville and Maleny are only 10 and 25 minutes away respectively, or if you prefer to go to the beach, Mooloolaba is about 25 minutes in the other direction. And just in case you didn’t know, Palmwoods is a bit of a foodie destination itself – you should definitely check it out. Rick’s Garage for epic burgers and shakes and Piggyback for a pan-Asian feast.
