Why are Tyler the Creator’s Norfolk and Pittsburgh shows being canceled?

Tyler, the creator, recently took to his social media to let fans know that his Norfolk and Pittsburgh shows have been cancelled.

The Grammy winner’s 2022 tour of the United States started on February 10.

However, as his concert dates in Norfolk and Pittsburgh approached, the singer got down to his Twitter to let fans know that the shows scheduled for March 4 and 12 this year had to be cancelled.

Why was Tyler the Creator’s Norfolk show canceled?

Tyler was ready to perform at the Chartway Arena in Norfolk, Virginia today March 4 and at the Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on March 12.

But, in his last Tweeterthe star shared a screenshot of a text message explaining why the shows were canceled.

the NEW MAGIC WAND The singer revealed that the shows were canceled due to a shortage of local staff in Norfolk. He further wrote that Petersen Events Center is physically unable to host the show’s production.

However, fans need not worry as refunds for both shows will be issued at the point of purchase.

What is the singer doing these days?

The 30-something was recently part of the 2022 Converse All-Star Series, curated by Bimma Williams.

The talk was recorded in February and sees the singer discuss a variety of topics ranging from NFTs to the importance of musicians having a strong team around them.

Tyler’s last album was released in 2021, when he dropped out Call me if you get lost. The album features guests like 42 Dugg, Ty Dolla Sign, Lil Wayne, Lil Uzi Vert, YoungBoy Never Broke Again, and Pharrell Williams, among others.
