Winnie the Pooh Airbnb: You can rent a treehouse in the original hundred-acre woods

Airbnb has officially launched a ‘Winnie the Pooh’ inspired home in the original Hundred Acre Wood – and people are going crazy about it.

As part of Disney’s 95e Adorable yellow bear birthday celebrations. the ‘Bearbnb‘is located in Ashdown Forest and is inspired by the original tales of AA Milne.

The treehouse can accommodate up to four people at a time and has three beds and a bathroom.

The host of the Airbnb stay is Disney-appointed Winnie the Pooh illustrator Kim Raymond, who has organized the Bearbnb and has been drawing the iconic bear for over 30 years.

On the rental site, Kim said, “I have illustrated Winnie the Pooh for 30 years and continue to be inspired by classic EH Shepard decorations and more recent Disney stories. The “Bearbnb” is a unique experience that brings the charm of Pooh to life for fans, while honoring the original adventures that have been so important to so many for 95 years. “

In addition to the bespoke wallpaper and cabinets full of ‘hunny’ pots, the house also has a mezzanine and lounge area with a comfortable sitting and dining area for guests to enjoy a ‘smackerel’ or two. “.

During each stay, lucky guests will take a guided tour of the Hundred Acre Woods, play Poohsticks on the iconic Poohsticks Bridge, and enjoy locally inspired Hunny-inspired meals.

However, guests are cautioned that there are “strictly no heffalumps” allowed inside the house.

The other rules include:

  • A snack of “little something” encouraged at 11 am
  • Poohsticks is required
  • Multiple naps are allowed
  • No animals (other than Roos, Tigger, Eeyore, Piglets and Bears)
  • Maximum four people per stay; up to three children
  • Don’t smoke, you’ll piss off the bees
  • For safety reasons, it is recommended that only guests aged 6 and over sleep in the single beds on the mezzanine level. A cot or a camp bed can be made available on the ground floor for the youngest.

Owner Kim is said to be running two separate stays on September 24 and 25 for just £ 95 a night, with the reservation due to open on September 20 at 2pm.
