You will soon be able to book the “Home Alone” house on Airbnb – NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth
For the first time ever, the iconic Home Alone home in the Chicago suburb of Winnetka will be available for one night on Airbnb this holiday season.
And while you don’t have to worry about sharing a bed with the Fuller Moisturizer, you won’t have the chance to do everyone in the family disappear – since your host for the evening will be Kevin McCallister’s big brother, Buzz, and his pet tarantula, according to Airbnb.
On December 12, up to four guests can enjoy a cozy holiday evening inside the famous movie theater adorned with twinkling lights and a perfectly pruned tree – plus traps fit for the Wet Bandits, the entire ’90s junk food and trash your yellow keister might crave (including a cheese pizza to yourself and a candlelit dinner of super nutritious microwaved macaroni and cheese) and more.
You will even have the opportunity to enjoy an encounter with a real tarantula.
Reservations for an overnight stay at the McCallister Christmas House open Tuesday, December 7 at 1 p.m. Local COVID-19 guidelines will apply (Illinois is currently under indoor mask mandate), and customers are responsible for their own travel to and from Chicago.
Airbnb says it is closely monitoring Chicago infection rates and government policies, and will offer guests who book a $ 1,000 Airbnb travel credit if it becomes necessary to cancel the stay.
Prices start at $ 25, so save the change, you bastard.
