Shooting in Wilkinsburg leads to drug bust in Pittsburgh

A shooting in Wilkinsburg led to a drug bust in the East Hills neighborhood of Pittsburgh. Wilkinsburg police say Bryant Jackson was one of two men who exchanged gunfire on Burns Street on Tuesday. Police said they learned Jackson was a convicted felon and not allowed to have a firearm. They issued an arrest warrant and checked multiple locations, eventually tracking Jackson to a house on Park Hill Drive. four rifles, including an AR-15, and ammunition. Jackson is being held in the Allegheny County Jail.

Wilkinsburg police say Bryant Jackson was one of two men who exchanged gunfire on Burns Street on Tuesday.

Police said they learned that Jackson was a convicted felon and was not permitted to carry a firearm.

They issued an arrest warrant and checked several locations, eventually locating Jackson at a house on Park Hill Drive.

Police said in that arrest they sifted through nearly $31,000 of raw Fentanyl along with bags of Fentanyl and marijuana patches.

Police said they also seized four firearms, including an AR-15, and ammunition.

Jackson is being held in the Allegheny County Jail.
